TNA Hardcore Justice Results 8/12/12

We started out with some pyro and then Mike Tenay and Taz welcomed everyone as they ran down the lineup for the show.

Gunner and Kid Kash vs. Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez

Kash and Gunner attacked Chavo and Hernandez before the bell and worked them over, tossing Hernandez out and double teaming Chavo. The crowd began chanting for Chavo, who dropkicked Kash out of the ring and nailed Gunner with the Three Amigos.

Guerrero was cut off. Kash and Gunner worked him over with chops in the corner. Gunner covered him for a one count. Kash and Gunner took turns tagging in and out and beating down Guerrero. They even pulled out the old Midnight Express fake tag to fool the referee.

The crowd continued to chant for Guerrero but he was nailed with a double slingshot suplex for a near fall. Guerrero fired back with a series of punches and they exchanged shots, Kash sent him into the ropes but Chavo nailed a head scissors. He celebrated but was nailed with a high/low before he could make a tag.

Gunner and Kash sent Chavo into the ropes. Kash went down and Gunner drilled Chavo with a clothesline as he ran over Kash. Gunner cinched in a side chinlock but Guerrero fired back. Gunner cut him off with a high backdrop. Kash raked his fingernails over Chavo's chest and then tied him up, scissoring his arms with his own legs.

Chavo was beaten in the corner with a series of shots by Gunner. He and Kash continued to work him over getting heat on him. Guerrero nailed a series of rights but was nailed and knocked right back into Kash's corner. Guerrero nailed a right but Gunner drilled him with an axehandle from behind. The story is that every time Guerrero fires back, he gets double-teamed.

Kash locked in a Camel Clutch but Guerrero escaped and rose to his feet, dropping back with an Electric Chair. Guerrero crawled for the tag but Kash pulled him back and tagged Gunner, who stomped the hell out of Chavo.

Kash tagged in, measured and kicked Guerrero hard in the mid-section. Guerrero fired back with an uppercut but missed a dropkick. Kash went for a catapult but something didn't really work out and Chavo instead jumped up to the ropes and went for a moonsault. He made the hot tag to Hernandez.

Hernandez cleaned house on Kash, drilling him with a big shoulderblock. Gunner missed a clothesline and ate one as well. Hernandez hit a big Beal on Kash, then nailed a running splash into the corner. He lifted up Kash for an inverted power bomb and drilled him. Gunner broke up the pinfall but was nailed with a big clothesline by Hernandez.

Hernandez nailed a big dive over the top onto Gunner. That never fails to be insanely impressive. Hernandez came back in with a slingshot shoulderblock into the ring on Kash. Guerrero came off the top with a frog splash for the pin.

Bound for Glory Series: Falls Count Anywhere - Rob Van Dam vs. Pope D'Angelo Dinero vs. Magnus vs. Mr. Anderson.

Dinero didn't come out when his music hit. They went backstage and Aces and Eights were beating him backstage. They slammed his shoulder with a fence door backstage and stomped his sunglasses. RVD, the compassionate guy he is, tried to have the referee raise his hand.

Anderson took the mic and said it appears it's now a Three-Man match and he didn't care because it meant there was one less bitch he had to worry about.

The crowd was solidly behind RVD when the bell rang. RVD posed to the crowd on the buckles, so Magnus nailed him and RVD fell to the floor. Anderson and Magnus battled back and forth in the ring. Anderson kicked him in the head but Magnus came back with a running clothesline. RVD returned and nailed both with kicks. He nailed a monkey flip on Magnus, who almost landed on Anderson by accident. RVD then nailed a spinning legdrop on Anderson.

They went outside, where RVD dropped Magnus onto the railing. He set up for the corkscrew guillotine legdrop but Anderson nailed him from behind, sending RVD into the railing. Anderson and Magnus battled around ringside. Magnus was run into the apron and then slammed into the ring steps for a two count by Anderson.

Anderson continued beating him around ringside but a whip was reversed and Anderson ate the stairs. Magnus grabbed a steel chair and measured Anderson, who ducked. He kicked Magnus and then drilled him and went for a DDT on the chair but Magnus slammed him backwards onto the chair.

Anderson and Magnus brawled towards the entrance stage. Magnus dropped Anderson on the railing but RVD returned and flung a chair hard to the back of Magnus' head. He then nailed a corkscrew guillotine legdrop on Anderson.

Magnus returned to nail RVD, then mocked his trademark mannerisms. He locked in a Boston Crab on the entrance ramp but Anderson nailed him from behind with a charging shot. Anderson dragged Magnus into the ring. They fired back and forth with strikes. They drilled each other with a double clothesline.

RVD returned and ascended to the top for a Five Star Frog Splash but Anderson nailed him. They teased a Tower of Doom spot with all three but Anderson nailed Magnus and dumped him to the floor. RVD worked over Anderson, who fell into the ring. RVD nailed the Frog Splash but Magnus pulled him out of the ring at two.

Magnus suplexed RVD on the ramp and returned to the ring to pick the bones. Magnus tried to grab a chair from ringside but a fan wouldn't give it up. RVD was bleeding on the apron. Magnus finally got a chair and met RVD on the stage, where he had crawled. Magnus was shoved away. He stopped himself from going off the side. RVD threw the chair at him and nailed the Van Daminator for the pin.

Jeremy Borash said there was an uneasy feeling backstage. Security did an entire sweep of the building but could not find Aces & Eights. Madison Rayne was his guest. She said that she's been Knockouts champion three times and Tag champion twice, so she doesn't need Earl Hebner's help to win. But, then she waved to Earl and smiled to him as a special message.

TNA TV champion Devon vs. Kazarian.

Devon used the ropes to slingshot Kazarian into the ring and worked him over in the corner. He hiptossed Kazarian and nailed a shoulderblock. He whipped Kazarian hard into the corner and Kaz bumped over the top to the floor.

Devon caught up with him on the floor and nailed him with a fan's drink. Kazarian tried to scamper away but was nailed with another drink. He went to whip Kazarian into the steps but Kazarian jumped on it, nearly slipped but recovered and went for a bodypress off of it to the floor. Devon caught him and slammed Kaz on the floor.

Back in the ring, Kazarian backed off but was nailed with a hard clothesline. Kazarian raked his eyes and drilled him over the ropes throat-first. He nailed a series of rights down on the mat. Kazarian draped him over the middle rope and stoood over Devon's back. Kazarian covered Devon for a series of near falls. The crowd rallied Devon.

Devon went for a clothesline but Kazarian ducked and nailed a back elbow after using the ropes for a springboard. He drilled Devon between the shoulder blades with a kick and launched in a chinlock. Devon fought his way out with elbows to the mid-section but was caught with a dropkick for a two count.

Kazarian began slapping and trash talking Devon. He kicked and punched the champion. Kaz worked him over in the corner. Devon fired back with punches to the head and mid-section. Devon speared Kazarian who ended up landing on his head and staying there from the momentum.

Devon fired up and nailed a series of clotheslines. Devon nailed a big shoulderblock and a hangman's neckbreaker. Devon leapt up for a diving headbutt and nailed a running splash in the corner. He clotheslined Kazarian for a two count.

Kazarian missed a charge in the corner. Devon pulled him off the buckles with a great looking neckbreaker for a two count. That was a cool spot. Kazarian grabbed him with a crucifix for a two count. Kazarian went for the Fade to Black but Devon rolled through and nailed a spinebuster for a three count.

TNA Knockouts champion Miss Tessmacher vs. Madison Rayne.

Obviously, Earl Hebner is the referee.

They locked up and broke free. They locked up again and broke clean again. Tessmacher scored several quick near falls. Rayne rolled out of the ring to break her momentum after an attempted backslide.

Rayne returned to the apron and shoulderblocked Tessmacher through the ropes. She worked her over and scored a two count. Rayne ran Tessmacher into the top turnbuckle and used her boot to choke her. Rayne flung the champion across the ring by her hair.

Rayne drilled her with a series of forearms to the chest but Tessmacher came back with a quick flurry of offense. Rayne cut her off with a kick and nailed a Northern Lights suplex with a bridge for a two count. Somewhere, Hiro Hase is smiling. Rayne used her legs to scissor stomp Tessmacher's face into the mat.

Rayne covered Tessmacher for a two count but was upset when Hebner only counted two. Tessmacher kicked her in the face and came back with a series of right hands. She gets shoved into the buckles. Rayne charges the corner but was nailed with a Faceplant. Tessmacher came off the top with an elbow but hurt her elbow.

She covered Rayne, who put her foot across the rope. Tessmacher argued with Earl. Rayne rolled her up and used the ropes for the pinfall.

Hebner raised Rayne's hand even AFTER they showed the replay on the screens. That was dopey. The match itself was kind of there. Tessmacher really tries hard every time and Rayne has a good grasp on her persona but this wasn't much.

Jeremy Borash interviewed Bully Ray. Ray kept his back against the wall because he didn't want anyone attacking him from behind. He said that he normally wouldn't care about the Pope but Aces and Eights laid him out and they were gunning for Bully. He said that he is a tough guy but when there are four to Lord knows how many guys trying to take you out. He told them that if they wanted him, they could find him in the ring putting people through tables. He promised he was going to win tonight, then go on to Bound for Glory and win the TNA title.

Bound for Glory Series: Tables Match - Bully Ray vs. James Storm vs. Robbie E. vs. Jeff Hardy

There are tables set up around the ring. Ray came out worried for his safety. Robbie E told his opponents that no one cared about them and put himself over, which led to everyone beating him down and tossing him over the top to the floor.

Ray clotheslined Hardy and Storm, then began picking them apart. Ray then apologized to E, saying that they were from NYC and NJ so they needed to work together. He asked Robbie to grab a table as he kept Storm and Hardy at bay. E slid a table into the ring but when he went to return, Ray wiped him out. That was pretty funny.

Ray set up a table and grabbed Storm but Hardy nailed him and they doubled on him and went for a double suplex. E pulled the table out of the way but not enough as Bully took out the corner of it. Ooops! The referees are saying no and that it couldn't count. What else are they going to say?

E. began kicking away at everyone and drilled Storm with a right hand. E whipped Hardy into the ropes and nailed a running back elbow. The referees pulled the table out of the ring. E. pulled another table in and nailed Ray, who was on the apron recovering. Ray was sent to the floor. E nailed Storm, then measured Hardy with a few punches. He placed Hardy on the table.

E. went to the middle rope and began fistpumping. Storm nailed him and chopped away on E, who was now straddling the top turnbuckle. Storm attempted a superplex. Hardy slipped under and they did a Tower of Doom style superplex/powerbomb but Ray pulled the table out of the way.

Ray set up a table in the ring and tried to backdrop Hardy through it but Storm pulled the table out of the way. Storm worked over E. E reversed a whip and tried to send Storm through the table, now set up in the corner but Hardy nailed Storm to stop him and attacked E, sending him to the floor. Hardy set up a table on the floor outside, slammed E into the apron face-first and placed him on the table.

Hardy went to the top but Robbie T. came out. Hardy hit a bodypress off the top onto T. E. nailed Hardy and whipped him into the guard rail. E nailed Hardy with a right hand and place him on the table on the floor. E went off the apron with an elbow but Hardy rolled out of the way. E crashed through the table. The referee ruled that the match wasn't over because no one put him through the table.

Ray nailed Hardy into the ring steps, then returned to the ring and attacked Storm. Storm was backdropped over the ropes but landed on the floor He nailed Ray but was cut off. Ray went for a lariat and drilled Storm. He set up Storm for a charge into the table but Aces and Eights surrounded the ring. Storm superkicked Ray. Aces and Eights gave Storm the thumbs up while he looked on dumbfounded.

Hardy nailed Storm in the corner and drilled him with a leaping kick into the buckles. Aces and Eights walked out. Where was security to throw them out? Or all the other people who they attacked the last month or so?

Storm and Hardy battled back and forth. Hardy came off the buckles with a twisting moonsault. They battled back and forth with punches. Hardy nailed a Twist of Fate. He placed Storm on the table. Aces and Eights came back to ringside to distract Hardy. He told them to hit the ring. Storm nailed him with a superkick.

Storm went for the Whirlybird into the table but Ray kicked him in the face and dumped Storm to the outside. He grabbed Hardy and powerbombed him through the table.

TNA X-Division champion Zema Ion vs. Kenny King

They locked up and Ion backed King into the corner. King shoved him out and they locked up again. They went back and forth. Ion was grabbed in an armbar and used the ropes to free himself. They went back and forth. King leapfrogged Ion and used a drop toehold into a side headlock.

King slipped ouy of a reversal and used a series of moves for near falls. King grabbed a side headlock and controlled Ion on the mat. Ion backed him into the corner and nailed a kick into the mid-section. King sent Ion hard into the ropes and kicked him to the floor. King went for a dive but landed on the apron for a kick. Ion pullled him to the floor and nailed him. It came off a little contrived.

Ion nailed King and hit a flip dive over the top to the floor. He barely grazed King. King was tossed back into the ring and immediately nailed Ion with a right hand. Ion cut him off with a series of punches and stomps. Ion choked him against the ropes. King fired back but was caught with a knee to the mid-section and doubled over. Ion covered him for a two count.

Ion snapmared King over and tied up his arm with an armbar/chinlock combination. Ion drilled him with a DDT for a two count. Ion came off the ropes with a moonsault but King pulled his knees up. Ion cut him off with a kick but was caught with an inverted atomic drop and a series of clothesline and elbows. Ion was bleeding from the lip.

King suplexed Ion into the buckles. He rolled to the floor, where King nailed a twisting dive over the ropes to the floor. King deposited Ion back into the ring and nailed a springboard Blockbuster for a two count.

Ion went for a move but King landed on his feet. Ion missed a charge in the corner and King turned it into a sunset flip to take over Ion, then locked in a single leg Boston Crab in the center of the ring, going for a submission. Ion was able to break free, raking King's face.

King kicked off a charge but was nailed with an atomic drop. Ion nailed a standing moonsault and dropped his knee across King's face. The crowd chanted for King as Ion went to the top. King cut him off and attempted a superplex. He was shoved off but caught Ion with an enziguiri when he returned to the ring for a two count.

Ion grabbed his hairspray can but King nailed a cartwheel kick for a two count. King charges him but was tossed into the buckles. Ion nailed his finisher out of the corner and scored the pin.

Your winner and still X-Division champion, Zema Ion!

Backstage, Jeremy Borash talked about the Ladder Match and brought in Samoa Joe. Joe said he was ready because tonight he seals his place in the final four in the Bound for Glory series. He said he's coming closer to achieving his goal of regaining his World championship. He said he wasn't scared like everyone else because Aces and Eights mess with him, he goes to war until they aren't here anymore. He promised to win the ladder match and get his 20 points.

Bound for Glory Series - Ladder Match: Christopher Daniels vs. Samoa Joe vs. AJ Styles vs. Kurt Angle

Styles went right after Daniels and worked him over in the corner as the others watched. Angle told him to back off, then began stomping the hell out of him. Joe joined in with some stiff kicks and Daniels began pinballing around.

Joe whipped Daniels into the corner. Daniels tried to go for a moonsault but Joe walked off. Joe nailed an atomic drop and nailed a back senton splash. Joe peppered AJ and Angle with punches, then nailed an enziguiri in the corner on Angle. Joe went for the Facewash on Angle but Daniels grabbed his leg and pulled Joe to the outside.

Daniels dove off the top onto Joe, who caught him. Styles then hit a dive over the top onto both and wiped them out. Styles returned to the ring and began working over Angle. He whipped Angle into the corner but was backdropped over the top to the apron. Daniels, who had grabbed a ladder, slammed it into Styles' legs.

Daniels nailed Angle and tossed Joe into the ring. Daniels used the ladder, driving it into Joe's mid-section in the corner. He charged Joe, who grabbed him and nailed a Uranage onto the ladder. Joe set up the ladder but before he could climb it, Styles returned. Joe and AJ battled back and forth. Styles nailed a dropkick low in the legs.

Angle returned to the fray and laid waste to Styles with a series of stomps. Angle used a tilt-o-whirl backbreaker on Styles. Daniels nailed Angle from behind and was tossed through the ropes to the floor.

Daniels set up a ladder and began climbing it to grab the envelope with the points but Joe returned to the ring and slammed Daniels from the ladder into the turnbuckles. Joe nailed AJ and began climbing the ladder. Angle shoved the ladder out from Joe, then nailed an overhead belly to belly suplex on Joe. The crowd chanted "USA" in honor of the Olympics.

Angle set up a ladder but Styles attacked him. Angle got the better of the exchange and choked Styles against the ropes. Angle nailed a series of stomps. AJ whipped Styles into the ropes, with Angle running under the ladder and Styles slammed it into his face as he rebounded. Angle rolled out of the ring.

Joe returned to the ring but Styles nailed a Pele Kick. Daniels, with a second ladder, hit the ring, but Styles cut him off and began beating him with punch after punch in the corner, finally getting some payback. Joe returned to the ring but AJ grabbed him. Joe dumped Styles over the top to the floor. Joe nailed a tope into an forearm smash on the floor.

Joe went after Angle on the floor but was caught and nailed with an overhead belly to belly suplex. Daniels nailed Angle. Joe and AJ returned to the ring but Daniels worked them over. The tide changed and Joe drilled AJ and Daniels with clotheslines, then nailed Angle off the apron. Daniels was smashed into the corner, landing on the back of his head.

Styles went to the top but Joe cut him off and tried for the Muscle Buster. Angle tried to grab Joe for a German suplex and Styles landed roughly on his neck and chest in a scary moment. Daniels nailed Angle from behind with an STO. Daniels went to the top of the ladder but was yanked off by Angle, who put him in an anklelock. The announcers noted Angle couldn't win this way but could hurt Daniels.

Angle climbed up the ladder but Styles hit a springboard forearm, laying out Angle, who bumped into the ring. Styles went to the top of the ladder but Daniels dumped the ladder over with Styles taking a bump over the top to the floor.

Daniels went to the top of the ladder but Angle and Joe returned to the ring. Joe and Angle took turns suplexing Daniels around, trying to outdo each other. Joe and Angle, my favorite TNA rivalry ever, continued trashing Daniels, who took a series of nasty bumps. Nothing but respect for that guy. Angle finally nailed an Olympic Slam.

They set up a ladder and placed Daniels through the rungs on both sides. Trapped, he was easy pickings for kicks. Angle ducked under as Joe charged and Joe went over the top to the floor. Daniels grabbed Angle, trying to hold Angle from climbing. Joe returned with another ladder and climbed to the top. He and Angle exchanged headbutts. Angle went down.

Joe was about to grab the points when Styles hit a springboard leap to the ladder and grabbed them, literally from Joe's grasp as he crashed down to the mat.

Your winner, gaining 20 points, AJ Styles!

Joe stood on top of the ladder shocked before walking off. Styles celebrated in the ring.

Jeremy Borash interviewed Bobby Roode. He asked if Roode was afraid of Austin Aries. Roode said that he isn't afraid of anyone, especially Aries. He said Aries' win was a fluke last month. He said it was time for him to regain his title. For the last year, he's been headlining on PPV and carrying TNA on his back. Tonight, Aries' reign ends. He promised to right the wrong" and walk into Bound for Glory as the World champion.

TNA champion Austin Aries vs. Bobby Roode

Roode slapped Aries at the bell, so he spit a mouthful of water into his face. They went into a hot opening where Aries went for the Last Chancery early but Roode escaped and went to the floor. He returned but was caught and locked in it again. Roode grabbed the ropes and scrambled to the floor, stalking around.

Roode finally returned to the ring, where Aries nailed him with a stiff dropkick in the corner. Roode again went to the floor and tried to walk out towards the ramp. He began walking out as Aries yelled that there are no rematches. That made him change his mind. He hit the ring and rolled back out, breaking the count but was then caught with a dive to the floor. Aries followed up with another dive.

Aries pounded away on Roode. He snapmared Roode and dropkicked him in the back of the neck. Aries lit hs chest up with a stiff chop. Aries went to the top for another dive but Roode ducked out of the way and Aries nailed the railing hard.

Roode drove Aries backwards into the apron and then whipped him into the railing upside down. Roode began stomping the hell out of Aries after he was pulled back into the ring. The crowd tried to rally Aries. Roode picked up Aries for a suplex and dropped him across the top rope. He then nailed a backdrop suplex and a kneedrop for a two count.

Roode locked in a gutwrench styles bearhug trying to wear down Aries and take away his air. Aries fought to his feet and began drilling him with elbows. Aries comes back with a sunset flip counter off the ropes for a two count. Roode cut him off and elevated him into the air for a Gutbuster.

Roode continued working over Aries. Aries tried to bridge back and scored a nearfall but Roode forced him back over. Roode tied Aries to the tree of woe and continued working him over with kicks. Roode went to pull him of but Aries turned it into a sit-down jawbreaker.

Aries fired back and nailed an inverted atomic drop. He nailed a running clothesline, sending Roode to the floor. Roode ran away from an attempted heat seeking missile tope but Roode dove off the buckles onto Roode and then nailed a running dropkick into the guard rails on the floor. The crowd chanted for Aries.

Roode was tossed back into the ring and locked in the Last Chancery. Roode used his fingers to rake the face of Aries and break the submission. Aries was able to still grab a crossface, Roode's own finisher at points.

Roode got out and reversed the hold. Aries battled to the ropes but wasn't able to make it all the way. He kept trying to pull himself over and finally made it. No crowd reaction to the rope break at all. The Aries chants started again.

Roode began drilling Aries with right hands and forearms. Aries fired back with forearms and they went back and forth. Aries was sent over the top to the apron. He shoulderblocked Roode and came off the top with a missile dropkick. Roode nailed a hard dropkick in the corner and went for the brainbuster. Roode caught him with a spinebuster for a two count.

Roode placed Aries on the top turnbuckle for a superplex attempt but Aries held on and drilled Roode with a hard chop, sending Roode to the mat. He went for a 450 splash but Roode pulled his knees up. Roode went for a spear but Aries moved and referee Brian Heber got nailed instead.

Aries worked over Roode but was speared as Aries went for the discus clothesline. Another referee hit the ring but Aries kicked up at the last second. Roode went for the Perfectplex but Aries floated over and went for a move but the second ref was laid out.

Roode tried to roll him up but Aries rolled through and kicked Roode. He nailed a brainbuster and referee Brian Hebner crawled over in pain to make the pin BUUUUUUUUUT Roode kicked up at the last second. The crowd chanted for Aries.

Aries went back to the well once too often as he ascended to the top but Roode drilled him. Roode went for and drilled Aries with a superplex into the ring. They locked up legs in a small package with each referee counting someone's shoulders down.

Brian Hebner ruled Roode won the match but the other referee said Aries was the winner. Roode grabbed the belt and walked off with the title. Earl Hebner came out and grabbed the belt, bringing it back to the ring. The referees all began conversing. Stiffler said Aries got his shoulder up. Brian Hebner said he didn't.

Earl Hebner decided they were going to re-start the match. Roode said it was bullsh** and grabbed the belt. Aries went for a dive and nailed himself right into the title belt. Roode dragged an unconscious Aries into the ring and covered him but Aries kicked out at the last second. Roode was furious and shoved Hebner, who shoved him back. Tommy Young was loving that.

Aries grabbed Roode for a quick rollup and scored the win.

Your winner and still TNA champion, Austin Aries!

As a result of the loss. Roode cannot have a rematch against Austin Aries.

The show ended with Aries holding up a sign that read "Total Nonstop Aries."
